10 Simple Ways to Promote Your Website for Free

Now that you’ve got your web hosting all set up and site uploaded, you’re ready for the world to see it. One big problem looms ahead though: how to promote your new site when there is little to no money in the marketing coffers! Don’t despair, however; as help is a few clicks away. Here are 10 simple (notice I didn’t say easy, as there is some work involved) ways to get your site noticed and drawing in visitors for the long term.

All of these methods are either free or extremely low cost, and are strategies you can get up and running with today!

Article Marketing – Creating and implementing an article marketing campaign is a time-tested way of not only getting visitors to your pages, but also for getting backlinks in the search engines, which will over time raise your site’s ranking in them. This is also a task that can easily be outsourced cheaply, and can yield near immediate results.

2. Web 2.0 Sites – Taking some of that same content you’ve created or had created, you can make little blogs and feeder sites on various Web 2.0 properties like Squidoo, HubPages, Blogger, Weebly and many others.
